Central Power Systems Has Completed the Acquisition of the Briggs & Stratton Portion of Commonwealth Engine of Louisville, Kentucky.

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN – December 1, 2004 – Central Power Systems located in Columbus, Ohio has agreed to purchase the Briggs & Stratton portion of Commonwealth Engine located in Louisville, Kentucky.

Central Power Systems will service all Briggs & Stratton accounts previously served by Commonwealth Engine.

“This purchase represents an excellent opportunity to grow our business.In turn, we believe by working closely with the dealers it will have a positive effect on their business as well,” said Mike Finn.
